When you do something kind for someone, you receive a shot of Oxytocin in your brain that makes you feel great, giving you a sense of gratification, as well, the recipient receives a shot of Oxytocin to their brain, causing warm feelings of happiness and thankfulness — anyone else witnessing your kind act, potentially receives their own shot, causing the spread of shared satisfaction and inspiration. In other words, doing kind acts for others makes everyone happy.
